Since my last post, many people have contacted me very concerned that they WERE following some of the steps! Some others wanted to add a few more things to the list. I thought it was a great idea so I am sharing them with you here. If you haven’t read “12 Steps to lose your Internet Empire” I recommend you do. Together these lists are invaluable when trying to make money online.Check out the updated list below. If you can think of any more, let me know by leaving a comment to this post or by contacting me directly.

Make sure you DO NOT follow any of the steps below or in the previous post. Otherwise the headline “Internet Marketer loses Internet Empire!” could be about you!

  • Step 13: Have the search engines index your product download pages.
  • Step 14: Never update or add new content to your website.
  • Step 15: Make sure your website host suspends your account because of too much traffic in the middle of a product launch.
  • Step 16: Be sure to pick a merchant account that shuts you down because you’re getting too much money too quickly.
  • Step 17: Do not regularly email your list with updates, free offers, and news of upcoming product releases to keep their attention and maintain “hype”.
  • Step 18: Make sure you do everything yourself, learn HTML, PHP, Database Management, Server Management, Product creation and fulfillment. You are better than any third party or assistant would ever be. Working 60 to 100 hours per week is normal!
  • Step 19: As soon as you get a PLR product, release it! Don’t review the quality and make sure you do not modify it or edit it in any way.
  • Step 20: Make sure you do not have a Vision of where your business is going.
  • Step 21: Do not worry about creating a system. Systems are for big businesses, not internet businesses.

Again, if you think of any more, let me know by leaving a comment to this post or by contacting me directly.
