Archive for the Blogging Category

I am not a Xango distributor, nor have I ever had Mangosteen Juice. However, I do know people who have taken advantage of the Xango business.

Recently I had someone come to my office and they wanted me to show them how to market Xango online. They already had a domain name and I provided the hosting from my hosting company. So we were off to a good start!

However, creating a blog to market one product seems like you’re leaving A LOT of money on the table. I realize Xango is the product they are selling but if you take a look at WHY you want to sell Xango that’s where you should begin in your business building.

I asked him why he was getting into Xango and why he wanted to sell it. He said it was because it has helped him and his family. They all feel great! His shoulder pain has disappeared as well as his stress levels and migraine headaches. Then I asked him if that’s why he’s selling Xango, to help others with their health issues and to become healthier. He said ‘Yes! That’s exactly right! To help people live healthier lives!’

That was it. His business and website is there to help people live healthier lives. It’s a great business! I personally love helping people, so it was great to see his realization of the bigger picture. Then I asked him, “Is Xango the only product you can offer to help people live healthier lives?”

He sat there for a minute. I could tell his world just expanded immensely and he was trying to think of all the possibilities with his new business. He said, “No, there are tons of other products I could sell to help people!”

So that was it! We started building a business designed to help people live healthier lives. While Xango was going to be the first product he offered, there are many many affiliate products he can offer.  You never know when or if a company will go under or change their compensation plan to something you don’t like. You can always change the products you sell in your business, only if your business isn’t centered around one product.

So we came up with a plan. We went through my business building method I’m perfecting and will soon develop into an official program. I’ll give you the basics here:

Idea –> Vision –> Marketing –> Backend –> Frontend –> MARKET!!

You start with an IDEA, like selling Xango.  Then you have a VISION like building a business to help people live healthier lives. Then you figure out how you’re going to do the MARKETING for the business; blog, articles, calls, banner ads, ppc, etc.  After you figure that out, you need to build the BACKEND; domain name, website, blog, auto responder, articles, tracking, affiliates, JVs, OTOs, Up sell, down sell, etc. Then you build the FRONTEND like squeeze pages, various landing pages and the look and feel of the site. It’s basically the front facing portion of your business people will get to after you start marketing. That brings me to MARKET!! With the BACK already done, you can focus more and more time on marketing.

We discussed having an auto responder loaded with 5 - 10 messages. This will last at least a month or two. We also discussed creating articles and blog posts, up to 10 of them. These will automatically be posted to the blog on specified dates. So for the first couple of months, you can spend most of your time marketing and marketing and getting as much traffic to your site as you can.

If you’re in the Xango business or something similar please think bigger. Think about YOUR business and WHY you’ve chosen that product. I’ll give you a hint, it’s not because of money, it’s because of what?

Please leave a comment if you have any questions. You can contact me privately from the Contact page of you’d like.

If you haven’t already noticed, there’s a new blog widget in town and it’s name is BlogRush. The name, for me, makes it sound like there’s going to be a stampede of traffic rushing to check out my blog. Just like in the GoldRush days when every one was rushing to California to make it rich by finding gold, am I going to make it rich from all the traffic? Well I will if I play my cards right, but my blog site isn’t about making money, it’s about giving information and knowledge on the things I’ve learned and know.

The BlogRush code creates a cool looking “widget” which you can see on the right side of the page here. New related blogs posts are supposed to be fed into the widget and displayed on my site. By looking at the widget on my site, I don’t really what offshore banking has to do with the 12 steps to lose your Internet Empire and 9 more steps to lose your Internet Empire but maybe there’s a keyword on my site that pulled up that post.

On the backend of BlogRush you get statistics. Basically your blog will be shown on a 1 to 1 basis up front. Someone visits your site and sees the widget, your blog is shown on someone else’s site. However there’s MORE! The More and More people you get to check out your widget and then become a BlogRusher, the more time your blog shows up in the population of BlogRush widgets. It’s sort of like points in my eyes. I get points when you come to my site. You sign up from my widget and I get points for that too.

My overall take on this is to GO FOR IT! The more traffic to your blog the better. People will know more about you and what you have to say/offer. There’s A LOT more to BlogRush than I have the time to mention here so click on the BlogRush button below and sign up now.
