This isn’t a full review like the one I did the other day on the “Guerrilla Balance Sheet“. However, I wanted to talk to you about the process Joel has in the backend which I think everyone should be using, including ME!

You see, when you register to get the free ebook and after you login, you’ll see other fields with someone else’s referral ID. Right next to that referral ID is a Register Here link.

Personally, I think it’s genius! I haven’t seen too many marketers do it as well as Joel has done it. I mean, why wouldn’t you register, right? I don’t want to give my commissions away to someone else! So it makes you register at these other places.

One place is Direct Matches. I checked it out and originally thought it was a dating service for business people. Then I registered and found it’s not a dating service at all. LOL! It’s a way to network with tons of other business people. Think of it like MySpace but for business people. There’s no kiddies here. At least I didn’t find any.

By the next day I already had a lot of connections! The best part is, these people could be my potential clients or customers.

Networking is one of the best things you can do for your business. The gurus always talk about the JV and going to events to meet people and network, right?
